015 - At least I've got these photos...
(... So, the memories we gained on Valentine's were bogus, huh? Of course, I mean... Me and Sasaki? She was a good friend and quite cute and all, but her general assertion that love was a form of illness. Of course it wasn't real. Despite any interest I may or may not have in her, there's no way she'd ever reciprocate such things. And of course, while we were in the middle of a date of all things, Haruhi just had to turn up and send things to hell. ... I'm sure that gave her a great first impression of Sasaki, huh?
I have to wonder, would it have been worth keeping those memories? All the wonderful time Sasaki and I never had as a real couple... Then again, reality is reality, better to live in real life than live in a fantasy. Regardless of how unrealistic reality may be, it's my life and I'll live it the way I want. That's why I turned down Nagato's fantasy after all, isn't it? The reason I put my life on the line to bring back the Brigade... Oh well, at least I've managed to get one of those laptops Haruhi extorted from the Computer Research Society in exchange for this nonsense. And all those photos of Miss Asahina are still there too...)
[Today, you may find Kyon sitting in the park with a laptop...]
Hmm... No internet access. Figured as much. At least all my files are still here. Not that there's a whole lot of worth considering it's almost all stuff Haruhi had me working on.

Oh, by the way. I finished watching the first season of Shana.
It's a pretty great season but the arc with the twins was squicky

Permission to remotely hack into his computer?
... oh... a computer...
*she actually seems interested in something for once*
Sure, why not?
Does the timestamp on your tag there say 2007 on your screen, too? o_o
*hey Kyon, your computer screen is suddenly pulling up all of your files one by one at blazing speeds... including a certain password protected folder*
... Indeed it does. Weird. O_o
Stop stealing Mikuru's time traveling deal, Kyon. :| (also, I shouldn't stay up this late-*bedd*)
Oh, hey! You're in 2007 now!
Time traveling hijinx!

As a matter of curiousity, what can I expect from it in an emergency situation?
(no subject)
Well, if you really want it to be a surprise, that's fine too.
Eheh, sorry.

Yo, Kyon! [It's a little more brusque than usual, but mostly natural-sounding.]
About this recent disaster, Kyon, let me assure you that I have no hard feelings. This was a trick played upon us by forces beyond our control, and as such, we can do nothing but submit to their whims in this matter. What I wouldn't like it to do is damage the character of our friendship as is. So, ah, let's resolve for nothing to have changed, save that we have gained a certain amount of knowledge about matters that would otherwise not have been discovered. [Though she's still wearing a ponytail today.] It's true that we did such things and that your friend Suzumiya-san witnessed them, but as long as everyone understands the impetus was not ours, there will be no problem, don't you think?

(... Even if it was a rather pleasant change, I'm not naive enough to expect you to be up for it anyway...)
As for Haruhi, a logical person would certainly be able to come to some kind of terms with things, but she tends to be far from logical at times...

I'm sure you can convince her, Kyon. I'll corroborate whatever you say, of course. The misunderstanding is-- embarrassing, but we must handle it.
