Nishinomiya, it's a town in the Hyogo prefecture. Just a bit north-west from Osaka.

Well, it's a city near the sea, and everything's pretty relaxed there, apart from the bad guys that always seem to like wrecking everything. We've got the Teen Titans though, so they've always managed to keep Jump City safe.

Really? In America, we read about'em all the time in the news. There's always someone causing trouble in Jump City. But we're lucky that it's mainly robberies; Gotham City gets the really bad villains. The ones who are actually out to hurt people.

Most major threats back home tend to take place on another plane of existence. Bubbles of distorted space, giant blue glowy things, timequakes... It's all pretty weird.

Tell me more about your home though. It's...Ni, Nishi, Nishini...I'm sorry, it's such a long name. I don't really know anyone from Japan, or anything Japanese related except for my school. And that's only because it was founded by some Japanese guy.

Pffff... Nishinomiya is actually a real city and I don't know nearly enough about it to answer well.

Well, it's not that small, it's a decent enough city, but it's dwarfed by a lot of others. And yeah, it's not that hard to find hot springs too far out.

How are hot springs like? Are they really all natural hot tubs? I've always wanted to try one, because I've heard it's good for the skin. In fact, my dad's planning to take me to Japan at the end of the year!

It must be great to live so near one. There's nothing like that near Jump City, but I guess we do get the beach and the ocean. Ooo! Do you have sakura trees near your place? I've only seen them in pictures, but they're really pretty!

Yeah, there's this nice spot in the park by the river where the sakura blossom in the spring.

(I know that day with Miss Asahina is one I won't ever be forgetting, for more reasons than one...)
