23rd sigh

(... It's odd. Definitely odd. Here I am, performing the same menial tasks she always assigns me, yet... The anger, the frustration, the need to shout "Dammit Haruhi, why don't you get someone else to do your dirty work!?" isn't there. On the one hand, it's somewhat nice not feeling all the usual stress, maybe I've finally just resigned myself... On the other hand, I pretty much resigned myself a while back and it really didn't help much. ... Darn it, why am I over-thinking this? Well, back to work.)

[Today, you may find Kyon either:

A) Out and about town before Haruhi gives him some stupid task.
B) Out and about handling the usual stupid tasks Haruhi gives him.]

(Goddammit... Why? Why did she have to be droned? Even if she wasn't really my mother, I've had her for... what, four or five months now? She had her... eccentricities, but don't we all? I'm honestly going to miss her. Oh well, it's how life goes, isn't it? Just like Miss Asahina... Guess I'll just have to try and deal with it.)

[Today, you will see Kyon going through his daily routine. Heading to school, sitting in class, eating lunch, going home, performing some inane task assigned by Haruhi, etc.

Of course, you may also notice that he's doing these things somewhat half-heartedly. ... Or well, more half-heartedly than normal. Feel free to come across him at any point of his day.]

013 - Another year, another Valentine's Day.

... So, Valentine's Day is coming up soon. Normally I wouldn't even bother keeping track of this, as other than the occasional courtesy chocolate it's usually just a reminder of the fact that I still don't have a girlfriend.

However, considering the way the town tends to act for these events, I figured I might as well try and find a way to prepare myself. Anyone know what they've done for previous Valentine's here?
